Na przedniej płycie roczniaka Kern&Link  jest dziwaczne wycięcie w kształcie zapadki. Ale zapadka z tego zegara nie mieści się w tym otworze, więc nie jest to oszczędność mosiądzu. Jest to płyta 1667 w Terwilligerze (ok. 1930 rok). Dziwny pomysł.

Po wycięciu zapadki została ona wyprostowana. Przez prostowanie powiększyła się i dlatego nie wchodzi w płytę.
